Developed a safety device for moving up and down
Can work and monitor regardless of the weather

Ison (see CEO Kim Eung-uk in the photo
below), an information and communication technology-based (ICT) security company
located in Pohang, Gyeongsangbuk-do Province, Korea, has commercialized “Artpole”
as a safety device for remote monitoring that moves up and down and does not need
a vehicle with a high-altitude ladder.“Artpole is a device to connect and
move surveillance cameras and other remote monitoring devices freely to a
height of 25 m and other high altitudes after installing them on the ground.
With it, one can work and monitor at all times in any weather condition, such
as snow, rain, and strong winds,” CEO Kim Eung-uk emphasized on July 4.

A gimbal for correcting horizontal movements at a high altitude and a
high-performance camera are installed and merged with the Internet of Things
(IoT), artificial intelligence (AI), and big data technologies to send videos
to the main server and manage their integrated transmission with a mobile
device.  The company has commercialized other
integrated security solutions for industrial use, as well as to maintain and
manage top security and safety in extreme conditions. These include a device to
monitor abnormal heating around shaft kilns, a device to remove by-products of
shaft kilns, and a device to track the winnowing fan of blast furnaces to check
whether the molten metal they produce maintains a constant temperature.  The company has also developed a
monorail monitoring system optimized for the remote monitoring of underground
common ducts, the security of military facilities, and traffic control. “Our
products are not only safe but also convenient and beautifully designed to fit
the urban landscape. As such, they are settling as safety and security device
solutions for industrial use, smart factories, and smart cities,” Kim said. The
company supplies its products to steel mills, chemical factories, and marine
plant market.

“We will intensively penetrate the
Chinese and Indian markets this year to grow into a global company that
specializes in smart security systems,” Kim added. The company’s revenue target
for the year is KRW 5 billion and 200% growth year-on-year.
